Special Events
Generally once a month, in the months where we have no other event scheduled such as track days or the Conclave, we like to have a get together even if it has no Lotus or at least a car or mechanical focus. For the first F1 race of the 2010 season we had a race viewing at Club Auto with wonderful Po Boys made by Ann and served by the LLC (the Lotus Ladies Club). Earlier we joined with the Miata Club and toured the race shop at 3R Automotive and then to Wings over the Rockies museum. Check the schedule section for upcoming events such as our April Ski trip to Beaver Creek or our May trip to the Vintage Aero Museum near Hudson, CO. That one is both a drive and an event. We will have other events as the year progresses and some of them may just be social.

Dear Lotus and automotive enthusiasts,
As many of you may know, Bill Rosenbach has been battling MS for many years and now is battling cancer. Medical bills have left Bill and his wife, Heike financially burdened.
Sandy Hojaboom has arranged a benefit for the Rosenbachs. The event will be held at Mickey's Top Sirloin on Saturday Nov 3rd from 1PM until 4PM. There will be a taco bar for $6.00 if you wish to eat and a cash bar. There will be items donated for a raffle, and any additional donations would be welcomed.
Please come and visit with Bill, Heike and friends and family while giving your support.
Where: When:
Mickey's Top Sirloin Saturday Nov 3rd
6950 Broadway from 1 PM until 4 PM
Denver, CO 80221
(303) 428-3090
In addition, Lotus Colorado has set up a fund and is collecting donations on behalf of the Rosenbachs. You may contribute by using the Donate button above. All funds raised will go to the Rosenbachs in support of their financial situation.
Bill is one of the most amazing people I know. He has a great attitude and has contributed to the automotive community in ways that are nothing short of phenomenal. He continues to volunteer regularly, despite his physical limitations.
Bill is one of the founders of Lotus Colorado and helped form the club back in the early eighties. He is a past board member of Lotus Colorado and is honored as a lifetime member. He wrote and published the LOCO newsletter for many years. He continues to be actively involved in Lotus Colorado, RMVR, the Collector Car Council of Colorado, CECA, and helps run track days at Pueblo and High Plains Raceway. He is a past president of the Collector Car Council of Colorado and is an active promoter of council activities.
Heike has been extremely dedicated and supportive and has been caring for Bill and driving him to various events in spite of her own health issues.
Please join me in honoring Bill and contributing to the Rosenbach fund. You may make donations at the special event or on line with the secure account using the Donate button above.
Regards,
Steve Gram
